Whitehouse Cherry Smidgen® Brownies  

Brownie Ingredients
4 ounces of unsweetened baking chocolate
3/4 cup of butter
2 cups white granulated sugar
3 eggs
1 teaspoon vanilla
1 cup all purpose flour

Icing Ingredients
1/2 cup butter, room temperature
2 cups powdered sugar
4 tablespoons maraschino cherry juice
1/4 teaspoon vanilla
8-10 maraschino cherries, chopped

Whitehouse Cherry Smidgen Brownies
To prepare brownies, pre-heat oven to 350 degrees F. Line a 13x9 baking pan with tin foil, extending foil over the edges to form handles. Spray foil with non-stick spray.

Microwave the chocolate and butter in a large bowl until butter is completely melted. Stir melted butter until chocolate is completely melted. Mix in white granulated sugar until well blended. Add eggs and vanilla and stir. Add flour and stir until blended.

Bake for 30 to 35 minutes until a toothpick inserted in the center comes out with fudgy crumbs. Cool in pan. Lift brownies out of pan by tin foil handles after they have completely cooled.

To prepare icing, beat butter until light and fluffy. Add the cherry juice and vanilla. Slowly beat in the powdered sugar, adding until the desired consistency is reached. Mix in chopped cherries by hand.

Spread icing over top of cooled brownies. Cut brownies into squares and top with Dark Chocolate Whitehouse Cherry Smidgens.

Peanut Butter Bunny Smidgen® Easter Cupcakes

Cupcake Ingredients
1 box of your favorite chocolate cake mix
cupcake liners

Icing Ingredients
1 cup butter, room temperature
4 cups powdered sugar
4 tablespoons milk
1/4 teaspoon vanilla
green food coloring

Milk Chocolate Peanut Butter Bunny Smidgens® for decoration
Jelly Beans for decoration
Chocolate Easter Cupcakes

Prepare the cupcakes according to the directions on the box of the cake mix. Cool completely.

To prepare icing, beat butter until light and fluffy. Add vanilla. Alternate adding powdered sugar and milk until desired consistency is reached. Add green food coloring until the color of the icing is a vibrant green color.

Ice the cupcakes with the green icing and decorate with a Milk Chocolate Peanut Butter Smidgen and Jelly Beans.

Peanut Butter Candy Cookies  

Cookie Ingredients
1/2 cup white granulated sugar
1/2 cup packed brown sugar
1/2 cup creamy peanut butter
1/2 cup butter, room temperature
1 1/2 cups all purpose flour
3/4 teaspoon baking soda
1/2 teaspoon baking powder

1/4 cup white granulated sugar

or your favorite Smidgen®!
Pre-heat oven to 375 degrees F. In a large mixing bowl, beat 1/2 cup of white granulated sugar, brown sugar, peanut butter, butter and egg on medium speed until well blended. Mix in flour, baking soda and baking powder until dough forms.

Put 1/4 cup white granulated sugar in a small bowl. Roll dough into 1 inch balls and roll in sugar. Place on ungreased cookie sheets about 2 inches apart.

Bake for 8 to 10 minutes until golden brown. Immediately after removing from oven press one Smidgen® into the center of each cookie. Remove from cookie sheet and cool completely.
