At Gertrude Hawk Chocolates we take as much care in shipping your order as we do making the product that goes into it. Due to the perishable nature of our chocolates your order will be carefully packaged to ensure it arrives to you in perfect condition. During times of warm weather we modify shipping options and package orders appropriately in insulated containers to ensure it arrives to you as fresh as it was when it left our facility.
We suggest shipping your order to an address where the recipient will be available to receive the package. We can not control where UPS may leave your package, for example, on a front porch or outside in the elements. Our products are perishable and should not be left unattended for extended periods of time.
Gertrude Hawk Chocolates does not ship on weekends. All orders placed after 2:00pm ET on Friday and orders placed on Saturdays and Sundays will ship on Monday.
Overnight Shipping: Orders received by 2:00pm ET Monday through Thursday will ship overnight for next day delivery. Orders received after 2:00pm ET will ship the following business day for overnight delivery. Orders received on Thursday after 2:00pm ET and on Friday, Saturday, or Sunday will ship on Monday for a Tuesday delivery.
3-Day Shipping : Orders received by 2:00pm ET Monday through Tuesday will ship that same business day and will be scheduled for delivery within business days. Orders received Tuesday (after 2:00pm ET), Wednesday, Thursday, Friday, Saturday or Sunday will ship on Monday for a Thursday delivery.
Two Day Shipping: Orders received by 2:00pm ET Monday through Wednesday will ship that same business day and will be scheduled for delivery within 2 business days. Orders received Wednesday (after 2:00pm ET), Thursday, Friday, Saturday or Sunday will ship on Monday for a Wednesday delivery.
Saturday Delivery: Saturday delivery is available in limited areas for an additional charge. Please contact customer service at 1-866-932-4295 for information on Saturday delivery.
Foreign Shipments: We accept orders that will be shipped within the contiguous United States. We regret that we cannot ship to Alaska, Hawaii, P.O. Boxes, FPO, APO or any country outside of the United States.
We will not be responsible for any delays in shipments due to adverse weather conditions beyond our control.
